What to expect for your first visit
On your first visit to Ada Family Chiropractic you will receive a comprehensive exam that will evaluate joint motion, muscle tension and function, as well as gait analysis or other dynamic tests. X-rays are sometimes needed for the average patient, and are required when an injury is suspected. Most imaging will be performed at the radiology center at Valley View Regional Hospital.
Treatment will usually begin on the first visit. We do not use or endorse high-visit treatment plans. In fact, if a chiropractor asks you to sign up for 25-50 visits after an exam, run as quickly as you can! These types of offices generally use scare tactics to get patients into care.
We understand that everyone responds differently to treatment which is why our treatment plans are specific to fit your needs. If wellness is important to you we recommend regular "check-up" visits, but it is not a requirement.
